INDIAN OCEAN...
'Being busy' is the biggest cliche you hear from people who are working.. I'd rather call it time mismanagement on my part...whatever..the moral of the story is I dont find too much time left in my hands...and thus I was looking forward to this weekend... to just entertain myself...and thankfully, I had one of the best 2 1/2 hours i've had in some time now...
I went to Chicago this weekend to see the band 'Indian Ocean' live in concert :) ... and they were super!! I love music..and these guys rock. I like listening to their music...but seeing them live is a different experience altogehter...they are absolutely original...each of their songs have a social context / a revolutionary touch to them (can't help comparing them to the U2 of early days) and they have their own distinct sound...which is the hallmark of any great artist (think A R Rahman for instance..) . IMHO, easily India's most talented band. Any comparison is a waste of time. But more than anything...its about four normal guys who make excellent music... which is how it should be :)
And the guys were kind enough to click a pic with us... :)

Yeah, i can understand how a music crazy perons like u culd have enjoyed it..and i know what u mean by time mismanagement..i also fall in the same category..
omg...i LOVE Indian Ocean...they totally rock...I happened to be in the right place at the right time and saw a concert in bangalore...I dont know if this is one of their older songs...but IMHO the best one they have ever made is kandisa...the album is also called kandisa...i think it was their first..not sure...
Live concerts always rocks! Atlanta hosts all sort of such concerts every now and then. I hv never been to any, might try for the next one.

what i can figure about you from your blog....
you are the friendly sort...you get friendly easily...but it takes you a long time to become very close to a person...once you are...you will do anything for them....you expect people to do the same despite being disappointed occasionally...people in general like you...and consider you a warm person....you are more sentimental than most...atleast more open about it...you consider yourself capable of doing more or less anything once you set your mind to it...but setting your mind to something is another story altogether....you have a tendency to laze around and procrastinate which is not a serious problem yet...you LOVE music(hehe)...you are a teeny weeny bit of a sucker...you get along well with kids(i dunno where i got this but i just got the feeling...)...shit...don have time to finish....thanks alot anyway...plz don b offended...
